To a culture that reveres its ancestors, members of the Boston (Mass. USA) Chinese community recently gathered to mark the conclusion of 20 years' work creating the Chinese Immigrant Memorial at Mount Hope Cemetery, where many brought offerings of various foods and drinks to be enjoyed in the afterlife.

A couple who recently tied the knot at Scotland’s Airth Castle in Stirlingshire, noticed a mysterious green phantom that suddenly appeared as they were having their photographs taken. The Chinese government is to outlaw the selling of non-existent gravesites and tombs to unsuspecting, buyers as well as banning the popular practice of burning paper models of villas, limousines, mistresses and even drugs for dead loved ones, whom many Chinese believe would lead a happy afterlife with these items.
