Hilary Swank says some spooky things happened on the set of her paranormal horror movie The Reaping.

"A lot of strange stuff happened," said the actress. "The sound went all strange during one scene where you see the decomposed body of a boy. The boy has a symbol on his back, and every time the camera panned down to it the sound would go weird and our voices would slow down to 'raaaaaar.'"

On the set of the film about a recurrence of 10 Biblical plagues, the eerie instance kept occurring. "It would happen every time we did that scene," Swank said. "The first time we were like, 'OK, reload, go again.' Went again, and at that exact moment it happened again. Five takes later it kept happening. And they said, 'OK, forget it, let's just do it later.' I don't know.

I mean that's weird. It didn't just happen at different takes in the movie, either."
