PUB LECTURES TO FEATURE PARANORMAL PHENOMENA

AN EXPERT on aliens and ghosts is holding a series of lectures in Croydon in the hope that people will come forward with stories of spooky goings on in the borough.

Malcolm Robinson, founder of the Strange Phenomena Investigations Society, is keen to look into any local sightings of UFOs or apparitions.

And he is prepared to be greeted with scepticism by some members of the public.

He said: "People are entitled to their opinion and I'm not expecting everyone to agree with our theories.

"But a lot of the time people don't know where to turn when they see something they can't explain.

"A lot of people also fear ridicule and cynicism. Every case we get will be handled professionally and while we can't guarantee an explanation, we will study it thoroughly."

The lectures are being held in the Spread Eagle pub, in Katharine Street, from 3pm every Saturday from July 14 until December 1, 2007.
