A couple plagued by spooky lodgers who go bump in the night are looking for a medium to get rid of them - for the second time.

Gary and Jane Helstern have tried, with the help of a medium, to expel flashing orbs and shadowy figures which roam their home.

Mr Helstern (40) said: "We do not sleep because as soon as we have gone to bed we are wide awake because they are banging up and down the stairs - that is what they do to you."

"They are playing games with us at the moment.

"They keep taking part of the blind off and chucking it on the floor."

The pair say they are left exhausted and nauseous from sleepless nights.

And neither dare venture upstairs alone because their bedroom is the most haunted part of the house in Grimsby Road, Caistor.

"We think there are about five of them now and although we do not feel threatened by them, we want them to go," said Mrs Helstern.

With the help of neighbour Ann Ward, the couple have captured footage of lights - orbs which represent spirits - dancing around their bedroom.

And a smokey entity has risen out of the top of the radiator.

And despite Grimsby-based medium Wendy Turner sending some of the ghosts away, she says it is the couple who are haunted and the spirits could be back.

"I cleared some energies from their house but there are so many of them,"she said.

Now they are enlisting the help of another Lincolnshire medium, Paul Drake of Stow, near Gainsborough, who has worked with Most Haunted's Derek Acorah.
